Nani v Babel – II

So Liverpool lost over the weekend courtesy the beach ball and Kausy commented about Babel playing better than Kuyt as a striker. While having our discussion about the game Kausy made a point that if you give enough playing time to a player, he is bound to show improvement and thus the improvement in Babel’s attitude and game play.

And I was quick to correct him that this doesn’t apply to every player. Nani for example saw lot more playing time than Babel till now but his game play has actually declined. Nani started off against Chelsea in Charity Shield with awesome display and then went missing in all the games he played a part in. Which clearly proves my point.

And so a Liverpool fan and Manchester United fan finally agree on something – Babel is better than Nani anytime. And thus the debate ends.

By the way we also agree that Liverpool will lose over the weekend against Manchester United. 🙂
